It's time for Card #3! Here comes Crawsting - one of my "better" of the oldest cards I've done
Ooooohh, boy....where do I begin? Maybe the with weirdly-shaped letter "P" down there for his Crab Cut attack? That's a Power Attack, which is like an ultimate ability in most MOBAs like League of Legends and SMITE, but I never figured out how they would be different.
Now seems to be a good time to talk about the old type list as well! Like I said, there were 27 (well, 26, one of the scrapped types is still on the type page), but as a bit of trivia there were three in total that got scrapped: Fruit, Ultima, and Mystery. The official types back then were:
*NORMAL
*FIRE
*WATER
*PLANT
*ELECTRICAL
*POISON
*BUG
*PSYCHIC
*STONE
*HUMANOID
*DARK
*LIGHT
*FLYING
*ICE
*WIND
*MANA
*METAL
*UNDEAD
*COSMIC
*SLIME
*DEMON
*MUTANT
*TIME
*GHOST
*FIGHTING
*DRAGON
When the reboot was talked about the first time, my friends and I decided to lump a bunch of types together to consolidate the list. They are now as follows
Colorless - Normal, Flying, Dragon, Humanoid, Time
Nature - Plant, Poison, Bug, Wind
Mecha - Mutant, Metal
Magic - Psychic, Undead, Cosmic, Dark, Mana, Ghost
Terra - Fighter, Stone
Lux - Electrical, Light
Inferno - Fire, Demon
Liquid- Water, Slime, Ice
I still have yet to figure out how each type interacts in general, but it should be much more manageable now! Anyway, onto Crawsting, who I've made an impromptu Bio for:
"A hybrid of crayfish and hornet, with the best of both species in terms of ways to hurt others. He is actually quite lonely, however, and has few friends.
So...Crawsting. One of my absolute earliest cards; it may not look apparent, but I think I had just turned 13 when I drew him. I colored him in later and gave him a halfhearted attempt at info slots, but it still does not excuse the ripped card paper and overall-shoddy colors for his wings.
I'm done posting for tonight, but rest assured - when I get the time, there will be more cards. The next one I post will explain status ailments!
